Seven years ago, Denise McGaha walked into Currey’s High Point showroom, and we were immediately captivated by her Southern warmth, big Texas style and her love of color. Our relationship with Denise as an interior designer and design influencer evolved, and a product collection was born. Since 2001, Denise McGaha Interiors has delivered fashionable, diverse and adventurous designs for clients around the country.
Denise’s design firm, Denise McGaha Interiors, is consistently ahead of the curve, not just influencing interior fashion, but often dictating it. Denise’s sophisticated methodology and solid business acumen evolved through her decade in the corporate landscape of luxury retailer, Neiman Marcus, where she honed her well-trained eye, and was an integral part of the team that launched the Dallas company's website. Often tapped as an interior design influencer, Denise, and her design projects, have been featured in national advertising campaigns for luxury manufacturers.
Bunny opened her own interior design company, Bunny Williams Incorporated, in 1988 after twenty-two years with the venerable decorating firm, Parish-Hadley Associates. Schooled in the classics, restraint and appropriateness are hallmarks of Bunny's style. Objects, patterns, textures and colors, beautifully balanced, have an appealing undisciplined look — the direct result of great focus and meticulous planning. Bunny Williams' passion for design extends beyond interiors into the garden. For 25 years, Bunny co-owned Treillage Ltd., a garden furniture shop in New York, with antiques dealer John Rosselli.
Drawing from the seductive style of Art Deco, the Coupe Chandelier will be the toast of the party when illuminating a fête. The glass saucers sitting on clean-lined stems, which hold the eight lights, were inspired by Denise’s fascination with the champagne coupe. The composition celebrates her love for everything plaster and gesso. “I believe this finish brings out the form of any piece and allows it to stand alone,” she notes of the fixture, which is made of wrought iron that has been treated to a white gesso finish.
